Rihanna’s 21-year-old cousin Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne has been shot and killed in Barbados, just hours after they spent Christmas Day together.
Rihanna told fans of his death last night, and she posted a series of photos of them as she mourned his death.
What happened? Well Tavon was walking through the St Michael’s area at around 7 pm on Tuesday night when he was approached by a man and shot several times. Police suspect that it was a robbery attempt.
Local reports are saying that Tavon was robbed of some expensive items that he received on Christmas.
Rihanna tweeted: “RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms!” . . . “Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!”

Asantehemaa’s funeral: Schools in Kumasi, Asante Mampong to be closed 4th& 8th Dec.

Basic schools within the Kumasi Metropolis and Asokore Mampong Municipal will be closed on Monday, December 4, 2017 to allow for activities for the final funeral rites of the late Queen Mother of Asanteman, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem to be held. In connection with the funeral, a ban has been placed on all funerals from the Friday 1st December to Monday 11th December.
