Ebony Is Currently The Best Dancehall Artiste In Ghana; Forget Shatta, Stonebwoy And Samini – Afia Schwarzenegger

Although there are several Dancehall artistes in Ghana and they are well known all over Africa and worldwide, controversial Ghanaian actress Afia Schwarzenegger has indicated that, sexy and young Dancehall musician Ebony Reigns is currently the best Dancehall musician subject in the country.
Afia  Schwarzenegger  who is also a comedienne made this assertion to Eugene Baah producer of Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra hosted by Doctar Cann. Afia specified, “Ebony is currently the best Dancehall musician in Ghana,” she disclosed.
The actress cum comedienne Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, aka Afia Schwarzenegger further detailed, “ In terms of Dancehall music currently no artiste can be compared to Ebony. She is a very talented musician so Ghanaians should rather support her and stop the criticisms about her dressing because it’s all about entertainment,” she clarified.
The television and radio presenter Afia further explained, “the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and some great artiste exposes themselves than Ebony conversely they are not criticized like the way Ghanaian’s are criticizing Ebony she revealed.
Afia Schwarzenegger came to the limelight after the popular “Afia Schwarzenegger” series where she was the lead actor.

Asantehemaa’s funeral: Schools in Kumasi, Asante Mampong to be closed 4th& 8th Dec.

Basic schools within the Kumasi Metropolis and Asokore Mampong Municipal will be closed on Monday, December 4, 2017 to allow for activities for the final funeral rites of the late Queen Mother of Asanteman, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem to be held. On Friday, 8th December, 2017, schools will close at 12:noon to enable students reach home on time. A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service, Ashanti Region, said  “Day students in the Senior High Schools are also to stay home within these two days.” The Manhyia Palace set Friday 1st, to Monday 11th of December 2017, as dates for the performance of the final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa Afia Kobi Ampem II. Burial rites have already been held for the Queen mother who passed away in 2016 at age 109. In connection with the funeral, a ban has been placed on all funerals from the Friday 1st December to Monday 11th December.
